Kailua Kona, Hawaii
The triathlete Anna Linner fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams on October 14, 2023 on the Hawaiian island of the Big Island when she started the long-distance triathlon world championship. After the starting signal at 7:25 a.m. local time, Anna completed the 3.8 km swim in a strong swim time of 1:07:47 and set off on the 180 km bike course. This led over the Queen Kaahumanu Highway to the northern town of Hawi, where the athlete was already halfway there. After 6:22:44 hours, Anna reached the transition zone at the pier in Kaliua Kona for the second time and, affected by the midday heat, set off on the 42.195 kilometer marathon run. With a total time of 12:44:19 hours and a smile on her face, Anna managed to finish the Ironman Hawaii as the second best German in her age group.
It was an honor to accompany Anna Linner as a sponsor on this strenuous journey. We warmly congratulate her on her top sporting performance at the Ironman Haiwaii!
