Production Logistics

The RELAG Production Supply system controls and optimizes the supply and disposal of materials for manufacturing – from raw materials and auxiliary and packaging materials to semi-finished and finished goods. The module integrates seamlessly with ERP/MES systems, utilizes intelligent retrieval strategies, and ensures a smooth supply of materials on the production line.

Efficient production logistics begins with reliable material provision and ends with clean removal. RELAG combines both in a single, integrated production module that enables both automated and manually created transport orders. All transport units are reliably directed to the correct production line. The capacity of the production supply areas (PSAs) is taken into account to ensure efficient and transparent material flows.

This is how the production supply module works

The RELAG Production Supply system controls the flow of materials between warehouse and production – automatically, transparently and according to demand.

Material supply: Request via TE number or material/quantity, automatic reservation and transport order generation according to the retrieval strategy, including capacity management of storage locations in production.
Finished goods transport: Automatic or manual triggering, creation of new transport orders with material, batch, and serial numbers.
Retrieval: Return of residual materials, automated or manual, with bill of materials comparison and configurable rules.
Empty container and waste removal: Manual or automatic transport orders, including connecting trips for empty container return.
