Awakening young people’s enthusiasm for technology:

Together with sbs gmbh from Weyarn, we organized and funded a basic programming course (Calliope mini) from FabLab Oberland e.V. for the 3rd and 4th grades at our elementary school in Weyarn.

The students gained interesting insights into technology. They learned how a moisture sensor works and how it can be read using a microcontroller. Working watering cans were created step by step in the classroom. The children were thrilled!

And then that magical moment happens: An LED flashes, a sound plays, and you can see in the children’s eyes: “I can do this!”

The children of today are the it-designers of tomorrow!

As a company, it is important to us to promote precisely such projects because we believe that digital education is the key to the future. With our support, we want to show children that technology is not a book with seven seals, but a tool that allows them to bring their ideas to life.

In the district, a lot is currently happening in the promotion of MINT skills and we are happy to support the enthusiasm of future skilled workers as an intralogistics specialist.

The MINTopolis youth research centre is currently being built in Miesbach and, like the maker space Oberlab, organizes eumobil and stationary offers for technology enthusiasm in Gmund.
